EN - Free Migration Project, Tsuru for Solidarity and Detention Watch Network (DWN) are hosting a free learning space for any community member interested in deepening their analysis of border abolition. Over six sessions we will cover topics like Border Abolition 101, Carceral Economies, and Decolonization. The first session will be taking place November 17, 2022 at 5pm (ET) / 4pm (CT) / 2pm (PT) you can join the session by RSVPing at bit.ly/BorderAbolition.

This space will be held virtually, sessions are 1hr in English with Spanish interpretation, and captioning. You can find the reading materials at any time at bit.ly/BASGreadings. Reading materials will also be sent to you before each session once you register. Please note that we make an effort to include readings in English and Spanish, however some readings might not be available in Spanish. We hope to provide all reading materials in both languages in the future. A recording of the presentations will be shared with registrants after the program.

The Border Abolition Study Group will be happening roughly every three weeks for a total of six sessions together. Juntos is offering a Certificate of Completion for the BASG, we will be sharing more information about the certificate in the coming weeks. Durante seis sesiones, cubriremos temas como la Abolición Fronteriza 101, Economías Carcerales y Descolonización.
