Adrianna Torres-García

Adrianna Torres-García (they/them; elle) is queer and Boricua. They obtained a Master of Arts in Social Work, Concentration on Social Administration, from The University of Chicago in 2018, and a Baccalaureate of Arts in Psychology from Universidad de Puerto Rico, Río Piedras in 2012. Adrianna has a background in social and scientific research, as well as extensive experience in advocacy through nonprofit organizations. They are interested in the intersections of community organizing, advocacy, law and research as a tool for the liberation of migrant communities. Adrianna’s work is grounded in principles of abolition, decoloniality and anti-racism.
