Join the Fight to Abolish ICE

In 2025, we witnessed unprecedented attacks on immigrants by the federal government. Since 2016, we have fought to abolish ICE and end all deportations. We can’t do it alone! You can be a champion for freedom of movement and immigrant rights by supporting our work.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 by the end of 2025, which you can help us achieve by donating or becoming a sustainer of our work today. We are a small organization and strive to make a little go a long way. Your support makes a real difference for us. Consider donating any amount towards our $10,000 goal today!

In solidarity,

Achievements in 2025

  • Free Migration Project provides immigration legal representation to low-income clients, with a focus on cases involving asylum, unaccompanied minors, DACA, family petitions, and victims of trafficking or domestic violence. Free Migration Project represents more than 90 clients in their immigration proceedings. Along with immigrants around the country, many of our clients face a high risk of detention and deportation under the Trump administration, requiring a strong legal and community response.
  • FMP helped lead the Shut Down Detention Campaign which is fighting to close the ICE prison at Moshannon Valley. Moshannon is the largest ICE prison in the Northeastern U.S., with space to detain nearly 2,000 people. Tragically, two men have died at Moshannon in just the past 6 months. We and other members of the Campaign are fighting to close the prison so no one else is sent to their death there.
  • In November, we and partner organizations represented immigrants suing the Trump administration to challenge ICE’s policy of fining immigrants millions of dollars to pressure them to self-deport. We had been part of a successful campaign to overturn the policy in Trump’s first term, and hope we can help defeat this unjust and abusive program again.
  • FMP continued to lead the End Medical Deportation Campaign to organize against international patient dumping by hospitals. We worked with community members, medical professionals, and advocates around the country to stop hospitals from chartering flights to send patients out of the country instead of providing life-saving care. We are seeing that hospitals have been emboldened to deport more immigrant patients under the Trump administration.
  • We continued our work with grassroots partner VietLead to reunite families separated by harsh immigration penalties for past convictions
