Internship – Shut Down Berks Support – Winter/Spring 2019

Free Migration Project is looking for an intern to support the Shut Down Berks Coalition who is passionate about advocating for immigrants’ rights and challenging the current immigration system. This position is open to law students or undergraduate students, preferably with some background in immigration law or advocacy. The position is unpaid and anticipated to last from January to late April/early May (Winter/Spring semester).

The intern will help educate the public about the Berks family detention center, coordinate community supporters in engaging with key decisionmakers, and assist with legal advocacy relating to the campaign.
